In the early years of twentieth century, an engineer in the coal mines realised that a miner's task would be far safer and simpler, had there been chemical agents that could prevent leakage of water through the rock pores. Driven to work on this premise, he formulated special additives that could alter the properties of mortar and concrete. The initial success of his formulae spurred him on to develop various specialty chemicals and systems which would eventually go on to become bench marks of concrete improving techniques. The man was N. R. Gupta, the founding father of the brand-"CICO". Seven decades later, we, at CICO, continue to march ahead in our pursuit of excellence. Our market leadership in India is a small tribute to the man, we so reverently remember and try to emulate his ideals in all spheres of our activities. |
