Select City Walk New Delhi

India is witnessing a boom in retail industry and has led to the development of the Mall in the country. Select City Walk is a premier shopping mall located in the Saket District Centre, New Delhi. The 121,000m2 retail development is spread over six acres and includes a multiplex, serviced apartments, offices and public spaces. The mall was developed by Select Infrastructure, a joint venture between the Select Group and the Aarone Group. It was opened to public in October 2007. It is the first of four major malls that were planned for the Saket District Centre. The other upcoming neighboring malls include the MGF Metropolitan Mall and the DLF Country Courtyard.

Features

The mall is divided into three broad zones: Staple Traditional (family), Celebration (center-stage) and High Voltage(youth). There are eight anchor brands of International repute. The mall also has 125 stores representing over 500 major Indian and international brands of clothes and apparels.

There is also a 9300m2 outdoor open plaza, Sanskriti, for art festivals, fairs, exhibitions, performances, and al fresco dining. The plaza is landscaped extensively in timber, water, stone and steel and has an open-air amphitheater, along with trees and water features.

CICO Technologies has provided quality waterproofing solutions for various structures like Sewage Treatment Plant, planters, underground and overhead tanks, Amphi Theatre, water bodies. The total area of the work was more than 10000 sq.m where quality was the prime criteria.

CICO’s admixture was used for concrete and mortar to make the structure strong and durable. Some cracks that occurred in the structure were also repaired using CICO Poxy. Dampcoat was used in Amphi Theatre.
