Chairperson & Managing Director
Mrs. Anasuya Gupta is the Chairperson & Managing Director of CICO Technologies Limited. She did her schooling from Loreto House, Calcutta and graduation with honours from St. Xavier’s College and also completed B.Ed. from Loreto College, both from the University of Kolkata. She joined the organization as a Board Member, at the time of its incorporation but was actively involved in the management only a few years ago.
Due to Mr. Amit Gupta’s unfortunate and untimely demise in February 2008, Mrs. Gupta was required to don the mantle of leadership of CICO. Fortunately, she had been professionally involved with the organisation for some time, which made the transition possible.
During her early years with CICO, she played a key role in formulating and implementing the HR Policies for the organization. Over the years, these have been responsible for the excellent employee relations, currently in place. During her tenure, prior to assuming the role of Managing Director, she has successfully handled the critical areas of Corporate Relations, Customer Relationship Management and Internal and External Communication.
Since she has taken on the role of Managing Director of the CICO, she has committed herself to leading the organization from the front and to keep it moving on the path of unprecedented growth that it has achieved in recent years. She has successfully carried on the legacy left by her husband, while adding her own touch.
Mrs. Gupta has also formed and is a trustee of the “Amit Gupta Foundation” which works closely with an NGO called “Aastha” and in her attempts at promoting her belief that the lesser privileged in society must have a leg-up and be included in Society, she ensures that CICO employs people with multiple disabilities, who are trained in Accounts and Administration. She had also organized “Organ Transplant Awareness Programme” and this is the prime motive of the foundation.
Mrs. Gupta is a member of National Council Member of Construction Federation of India. She is also a member of the Family Business Organization (FBO) initiated by CII. Also she is a member of CII, PHD. She also enjoys the membership of We-Connect International- the International women forum.
