Amit Gupta elected to Construction Federation of India's (CFI) national council

Amit Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, CICO Technologies Limited has been declared elected to the National Council (Governing Body) of Construction Federation of India (CFI) for the year 2006-2007 along with other major construction companies. The elections to the National Council were held recently and CFI is the main representative body of major construction companies dealing in infrastructure, housing and commercial constructions in India and abroad. The CICO Technologies Ltd., New Delhi, was first to join Construction Federation of India (CFI), setup in January 2001 with its head-office in New Delhi.

Amit Gupta with 25 years of experience in the Construction Chemical Industry will contribute in making the construction industry aware about the correct usage of construction chemicals and their long-term benefit. This will help to increase the consumption of Construction Chemicals for the benefit of the industry.

Under his stewardship CICO Technologies Limited has become the brand leader in construction chemicals industry with an expected growth rate of 25%.

Amit Gupta has been a recipient of several honours for his achievements in the field of business such as the Rashtriya Udyog Award and the Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award. He was nominated by Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year.

The major objective of the Construction Federation of India (CFI) is to project the potential and concerns of the construction industry and work for its all-round development. It has a vision to create a world class and competitive construction sector in the country, forging ahead domestically and overseas.
